Frequently Asked Questions.

What does my donation go towards?

At Cat’s Cradle, every dollar you donate goes directly towards helping our furry feline friends. Your generous contributions fund vital vet appointments, essential vaccines, much-needed spay/neuter procedures, nutritious food, and crucial rescue operations from euthanasia shelters. With your support, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of countless cats in need. Join us in our mission to provide a better future for these loving animals.

I want to foster; how much does it cost?

Fostering cats comes at no cost to you! We handle all the essentials, providing food, litter, and covering necessary procedures and appointments. Enjoy the rewarding experience of fostering without any financial burden (unless you choose to buy anything extra!). Join us in giving these cats a safe and loving temporary home!

I found a cat!

If you find a cat, approach it calmly and quietly. Check for a collar or any identification tags. If the cat seems lost or in distress, consider taking it to a local vet or animal shelter to scan for a microchip. Provide food and water if the cat appears hungry or thirsty. It's best to contact local animal control or a rescue organization to report a found cat, as the owner may be searching for their missing pet. Avoid taking the cat into your home immediately, as it may have a home and family looking for it or become fearful/aggressive.

If there is no microchip or someone to claim the kitty, you are able to adopt them if you wish! If not, consider contacting us by email, text, or call!

What is the 3-3-3 rule for cats?

While there are some cats that automatically adjust to a new home as soon as they get there, most do not. The general rule when adopting any animal is the rule of 3-3-3: three days to decompress, three weeks to learn your routine and three months to start to feel at home.
